ᑕOᑭᑭEᖇ 2 ᑕᗩᗷO: ᑭᗩᖇT 2

Our next leg of the trip was to head to Denver to hang out for the day because our flight to Cabo was very early in the morning... We said goodbye to family and drove to Frisco for breakfast. We loved the food at Log Cabin Cafe...and it kept me full for most of the day!!
Reece got a hat in Copper... my boys look good in hats, but they rarely wear them!

Still waking up, and poor Riley got sunburned on the big mountain!

First stop in Denver was the aquarium... it was recommended by my friend, Jill, and it was great! I think the boys really enjoyed it! I know I did!

Reece touching a snake... Riley wanted nothing to do with that!

Reece is a sucker for mining!

Feeding time!

This was cool to witness! They had "Kiss the Girl" playing from "The Little Mermaid."

Now I want to watch "Finding Nemo."

So it was too early to check into the hotel, but 2 hours was long enough for the aquarium...our other dilemma was there was a lot of March Madness we were missing. So we went to Dave and Busters-something we don't have in our small valley. We got to eat, watch basketball and keep the boys entertained. Win/Win/Win!

That was our Denver excitement! Off to bed and off to Cabo in the AM!

ᑕOᑭᑭEᖇ 2 ᑕᗩᗷO: ᑭᗩᖇT 1

Let Spring Break begin!!!
First stop is Copper...where we met my brother's family for a day of skiing.
Our car was jam packed with ski equipment AND our beach gear...The boys had to suffer and sit a little closer than desired.

My nephew, Luke, warmed up to Jake quickly... Pop the Pig helped!

Game time with cousins, Colby and Camryn, and their friends-Zack and Zander. Apples to Apples never gets old.

The next morning, Luke was all smiles with Reece and Camryn. Love Reece's lucky hats!

Reece and Luke love each other. Reece is so good with little ones.

Recreating, or attempting to, recreating the picture of these four from last year... nothing changes, only how tall these kids get.
Riley, Reece, Colby and Camryn.

At the top of the mountain.

Family picture... I had layers and layers. I was not ready for the frigid temperatures! Glenwood had been so nice and warm, but Copper is a bit higher and colder. I think I stole layers from Riley! This was also Jake and my first time skiing a new mountain... Jake was so excited, I was crazy nervous. I only struggled at first... these were tough blues I had to take to get to my comfort greens. But it was a great day!

I got to hang out with Luke in the afternoon so Shawn and Kait could both ski. I was excited to do so. He was distracted here...but he was cheesing it up for me.
What's this?? I'm seriously posting a selfie AND a makeup free selfie!! Thanks, Rodan + Fields!
The weekend flew by... Here are the cousins. Luke was distracted with toys, but as soon as I showed him the picture he WANTED to sit and have another picture done with him sitting. SO CUTE!

More train time with Reece and Luke! choo choo!

Check out that smile!

Goofy faces!!!
Can't wait for next year!

Let me channel my inner Britney Spears and say, "OOPS, I DID IT AGAIN!"

Kidding... but seriously, you might have to get used to these monthly recaps. So here goes February....As we are already 5 days into March! Yikes!
So this was actually the very end of February. The Jayhawks were in a rough patch...we were running out of "lucky shirts" so for the Kentucky game, we switched it up to hats. I started with this hat...at halftime I switched to my sparkly hat, and toward the end of the game I threw it on the floor. So Jake, Riley and I lost our hats out of frustration. However, Reece picked up my sparkly hat and put it over his lucky hat and we won!! So he's literally worn both hats for every game since!
Showing off his lucky hats... what a relief!

Reece got to go up to Snowmass for a ski field trip. They learned about avalanche danger then got to ski after lunch.

Reece played a lot of basketball in February.

We spent Valentine's Day at the Iron Mountain Hot Springs. It was a nice day... kids stayed in the loud, pool area and Jake and I hopped around from tiny hot springs pool to tiny hot springs pool.

The next day was my birthday. Here is the sweetest card from my boys.
"Love you mom with all my heart" I'll cherish this forever!

I got to ski with Sasquatch. That's me... He makes me look tiny!

We watched the big game with some BIG Broncos fans. Reece was a good sport, even though we were all in Steelers gear.

Oops! Out of order... my birthday brownies. Brownies are my weakness!

KU was playing, so we squeezed in dessert during halftime. And some goofy pictures.

Notice the 2 hats! Rock Chalk!

More Lucky Hats! Seriously!! We haven't lost a game since...

Blue bird day! It was beautiful! Love Mt. Sopris!

Reece and I on the lift...cheesing it up!

It's a wrap! Basketball season is over... sadly Reece's team got knocked out of the tournament the first game. They were up most of the game, but Basalt hit a couple shots at the end of the game to win. :(
I chopped my hair off. And started a new business. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Plexus and I honestly will never be without Plexus and will share it with those that need it.... buuuut, I needed help with my skin... I was "blessed" with adult acne. So I've jumped in to RODAN + FIELDS after using the products for a few weeks I could tell I really loved them, so I'm also helping others with skin care. This was a picture Reece made for me on my birthday. What an artist!! It's now at work so I can daydream about hiking season...which is right around the corner!

Lucky hats = 11 straight wins and 12 straight Big 12 Conference titles! Woo hoo!!!
