"Positively Me!"

Riley had his 4th grade music program last Tuesday night.
It was called "Positively Me!"
I did the best snapping pictures with my camera I could. Riley is in the center with the argyle sweater.... I think he gets a little shy on stage.
He had another recorder song he participated in.
Here is Savannah on the right, singing a duet.

Photo Shoot

I don't really have a photographer's eye, but here are some shots I took of the boys at the Tree Farm. Aunt Jaime stepped in so I could sneak in a few of the pictures. The boys painful smiles tell you how much they just LOVE taking picture!! Thanks Jaime!!

Prairie Pines

No Black Friday shopping for us! We did our usual and went to pick out our Christmas Tree at Prairie Pines. We get a pre-cut tree every year, because I am a huge fan of the Fir trees that don't grow in Kansas, and Jake is usually stuck working on this day. Sorry folks, you won't see me cutting my own tree down by myself!
This seemed like the perfect size for our small living room.
Peek a Boo!
Shaking the loose needles off.
Netting our tree for the ride home!
The grandkids of the owner's got to ride in with Santa on the carriage.
My nephews Aidan and Owen are the ones looking at the camera.
Santa and Kennedy.

A bit windy, but otherwise a beautiful day!
My camera is drawn towards Owen's cuteness!!
"Inside, Aunt Jacque!"
Owen trying on the mistletoe headband and puckering up! Muah!

The Baby Barn Elves!
Mom and Jill.
Our neighbor, Savannah, came by to check out the Farm.
Keeping warm by the fire.
All we want for Christmas are some IPads!!!
(Gulp)
Mom should have prepped the boys for a less expensive wishlist.

The Tree Barn

Here are some pictures of Prairie Pines Christmas Shop.
This is what I jumped into helping out with right after working the Field of Screams.
I kind of wish I could take credit for what you'll see in these unprofessional pictures..... but I can't!
However, if you could look at each ornament, and see their tiny price tags..... yeah, I was a big part of that!
And if you see all of these walls made of logs..... you guessed it! I washed them!!!
That's what you guessed, right? LOL

See this GIGANTIC tree? I put a small fraction of those colored lights on it!!
Go ME!!!

What would my Christmases be like without the wonderful world at Prairie Pines Christmas Tree Farm???

It's Beginning.....

.....to look a lot like Christmas!
First... get the tree standing and lights on!
Then, mom gets to decorate with just red, gold and LIME GREEN!
Too bad the lighting and the camera doesn't do the tree any justice.

Lastly, let the boys put on the other ornaments.

FYI.... Christmas is coming!! Fast!!
My brand new Scentsy warmer! Isn't it gorgeous!! I bought it sooner than I had planned, and it's a good thing I did, because it sold out the very next day! Yikes!

We bought these stocking holders way back when Riley was just becoming obsessed with trains. I love them, but we moved to a house without fireplace..... so this year I hung an ornament on each. They are all sporty with our names on it, and it's hung by the big window in our dining room.

Merry Christmas!
