We got an early start to the hiking season...maybe it was a little too early, or maybe we chose the wrong trail. Either way, the weather was amazing and we definitely enjoyed the scenery! Half the trail was very muddy and half of it was icy and slick. A little mud never hurt anyone...but maybe we need to find more solid trails for the time being. We hiked "Mushroom Rock" in Carbondale, and I can't wait to get out more once spring decides to officially arrive.
